ok, so, i do this thing called Beach Mission, right. meaning im part of a team of volunteers that go down to a certain caravan park holds activities and such for the campers with the purpose of spreading the gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ over a period of 10 days or so. this will be my 3rd year on mission, so im fairly used to the whole 'stepping out of my comfort zone' thing. but this year the people organising the carnival we hold every year have asked if i could do 'anime portraits' of people as one of the stall things. i agreed to give it a go... i suppose its flattering that people think im goood enought to attempt something like this, but my skillz generally consist of copying pictures from anime & manga rather than using my imagination... its not just that, its also the fact that i NEVER draw in front of people, its my pet hate when people watch me draw. its like having to perform for an audience *shudder* i get nervous, agitated and i have a feeling its going to be difficult to show the love of Jesus when im in that state. people are watching and what if i take too long, and if im rushing it probably wont turn out right, and argh! everyones a critic!!
but i have been practising and praying, trying to get my confidence up, but mission is in like 2 weeks and i dont know whether im ready...
